Who is responsible

PostMicroTools (www.postmicrotools.com) is built and operated by Furiosa Studio, an independent studio based in Barcelona, Spain. For anything related to this policy or your data, write to [email protected].

What the tools do with your data: nothing leaves your browser

Every calculator and utility on this site runs as JavaScript inside your browser tab. There is no upload step, no account and no server that processes what you type. When you drop an EXR folder into the sequence checker, open a .cube file in the LUT previewer or paste an EDL into the inspector, the file is read locally by your browser and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Close the tab and it is gone.

Some tools let you share a calculation through the page URL. That URL contains only the parameters you chose (for example a codec, a resolution and a frame rate) and it is only shared if you copy it and send it yourself.

What is stored on your device

We use your browser's local storage for a few preferences: the light/dark theme, and in some tools the last values you used so you don't have to retype them. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.

Visit statistics

To know which tools are used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you and does not track you across other websites; it reports aggregated figures such as page views, countries and referring sites.

Advertising: Google AdSense

PostMicroTools is free and is funded partly by display advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ad Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message managed by Google asks for your choice before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used. You can change that choice later from the same message. Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse. We do not use that data to identify you.

Voluntary support payments

If you choose to support the site from the support page, the payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card details; Stripe shares with us the amount and the email address you give it, which we use only for the receipt and for any question you send us about the payment.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, object to its use or ask for a copy. In practice we hold very little: an email address if you wrote to us or made a support payment. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; in Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

Children

The site is aimed at professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
