Are my image or LUT uploaded to a server?

No. The image and the .cube file are processed entirely in your browser with canvas; nothing leaves your machine.

Is it exact like DaVinci Resolve?

It's an approximate preview: it applies the LUT with trilinear interpolation on the screen RGB values, without input/output color-space transforms. It's good for a quick look, not a final render.

About LUTs

A LUT (look-up table) remaps the colors of an image. 3D LUTs (.cube with LUT_3D_SIZE) map full RGB combinations and are used for creative “looks” and camera conversions; 1D LUTs adjust each channel separately (typical for gamma curves).

Why doesn't it match my software 100%?

This view applies the LUT on the screen values without input/output color management or space conversions (e.g. Log to Rec.709). A technical camera LUT expects footage in its source color space; here it's a quick approximation to preview the look.

Is it safe to upload my proprietary LUT?

Yes: nothing is uploaded. The file is read with the browser's file API and processed locally; there is no server receiving your data.
